An estimate by the Federal Bureau of Investigation has showed that most women and men who get abused by other never report this to the proper authorities because of fear. In the case of women this is even more serious with a women being hit by her partner every 18 minutes in the United States.
Women fear being called crazy or accuse of having a psychiatric disorder. This is the easiest way to silence both an abused man and women in the front of the law, and believe it or not, most of the times these people win the cases on this account. There are a few men who believe that battery is a rare thing and does not happen. Some people do not believe that abuse of men never occurs and there is nothing like this. There are a few beliefs that battery does not take in a few faiths. This is a ignotant view which has no connection with battery. Battery happens in every faith, its just that women and men of a few faiths choose to shut up istead of speaking out and suffering the shame and humiliation of being battered. There is no way a physical abuse will stop once it has started. The woman or man will not go public to disclose being tortured. People believe that a little battery causes no harm and is the right of the husband. A little battery that is constantly caused will have a permanent scar on the woman or man. Not all battery’s are little. A lot of times battery has known to take lives of women at home. Hence the next time someone sets aside battery as not a big deal, wake them up to these harsh facts. Men are aggressive and need to get their anger out, if the woman becomes the source of this expression, then it is a crime.
